Who it fits

Key specs explained for this recliner

Seat Width: 28 inches

This measurement defines the usable surface area where you sit. A twenty-eight-inch width accommodates larger body types more comfortably than standard chairs. You get ample space for your hips and thighs without feeling cramped. If you have a broader frame, this extra room reduces pressure on your sides. It ensures you can sit securely without sliding off the edges during long periods of rest.

Motor Configuration: Dual motor

The chair uses two separate motors to control the backrest and footrest independently. This allows you to adjust the angle of your upper body and legs separately. You can find a precise position that relieves specific pressure points. This setup offers more customization than single-motor models. You can fine-tune your posture for reading, watching television, or sleeping without moving the entire chair structure.

Maximum Recline Angle: 180°

This recliner flattens completely, allowing you to lie down horizontally. A one hundred eighty-degree angle mimics a bed surface. This feature is essential for napping or resting with leg elevation. It helps reduce swelling in your legs and feet. You can achieve a true flat position rather than a partial tilt. This capability makes the chair suitable for extended rest periods or sleep.

Heat and Massage: 8 massage units and waist heating

The chair includes eight vibration units targeting the back, lumbar, thigh, and leg areas. It also provides dedicated heat for your lower back. You can choose from multiple modes and intensity levels to relieve muscle tension. The heat function soothes stiff joints and muscles. This combination helps you relax after a long day. It adds therapeutic value beyond simple mechanical adjustment.

Design and build details

According to the listing, this recliner measures 40.5 inches wide, 38.7 inches deep, and 42.5 inches high. It weighs 164 pounds. These dimensions define the footprint you need in your room. The extra-wide seat is 28 inches, which accommodates larger body types without crowding. The overall width allows for stability, while the height supports easy access for standing up. The X-Large size targets big and tall users who need more room than standard chairs provide.

The layout includes foldable armrests and a built-in cup holder. You can tuck the armrests away to make it easier to slide in or out. The cup holder sits on the side, keeping your drink within reach while you watch TV or read. A USB Type-C port lets you charge mobile devices without leaving your seat. This setup supports long periods of sitting by reducing the need to get up for basic needs.

Controls are handled by a four-button hand controller. You use it to adjust the backrest and footrest independently. The power lift mechanism helps you stand up safely. A home button resets the chair to a sitting position with one touch. The chair comes in Tan, Brown, Grey, or Brown Faux Leather. You choose the finish that matches your existing decor. Assembly takes about ten to fifteen minutes. You attach the armrests and backrest to the base, then connect the wires.

Setup and everyday use details

Assembly requires two main steps and takes about ten to fifteen minutes. You place the armrests and backrest onto the base, then connect the internal wiring. Afterward, you turn on the red power switch located behind the base. The listing notes the item ships in three boxes, so you must assemble all components according to the instruction manual before connecting the recliner to power. This ensures the electrical system functions correctly from the start. For daily operation, you use a four-button hand controller to manage the dual Okin motors. These motors adjust the backrest and footrest independently. You can recline the chair to any angle between forty-five and one hundred eighty degrees. The power lift mechanism assists you in standing up. This counter-balanced lift protects your knees from strain, which is helpful if you have mobility issues or back pain. You can also use the one-touch home button. Holding this button for fifteen seconds resets the chair to a comfortable sitting posture from any recline position. The chair includes a USB Type-C port for charging mobile devices. You can place drinks in the cup holder while using the eight massage units. The massage offers five modes, two intensities, and three timer options. Additionally, there is a waist heating function. The armrests are foldable, giving you flexibility in how you position the chair in your room. These features combine to support relaxation and ease of movement in your daily routine.

Space and setup checks

This recliner is designed for larger frames, so you must verify your space. The chair requires 40.5 inches of width and 38.7 inches of depth. Ensure you have clearance behind the chair for the power lift mechanism to operate safely. You will need a standard electrical outlet nearby for the dual motors and massage system. The listing notes the item arrives in three boxes, so plan for adequate storage during assembly. You should also check the weight limit if you are near the upper range of the big and tall category. This model competes with other XL power recliners by offering full lay-flat functionality. However, you must confirm that your room layout allows for the 180-degree recline without hitting walls or furniture. Regular maintenance involves keeping the motors clean and ensuring the USB-C port remains dust-free. This chair suits those prioritizing mobility assistance and massage features over compact designs.

Check before you buy

• Measure your room for 40.5-inch width and 38.7-inch depth clearance.
• Ensure a power outlet is within reach of the base.
• Confirm wall clearance for the 180-degree lay-flat recline.
• Check that you can handle three boxes during assembly.
